Role Overview

The Event Operations Head will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of all events and experiential marketing projects. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously — ensuring that every event aligns with Trzy’s creative vision, brand standards, and client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership :
  • Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of all events, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Team Management :
  • Manage and mentor a team of operations managers, production staff, and on-ground event personnel.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination :
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and production partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Process Optimization :
  • Develop and implement systems and SOPs to streamline event workflows, logistics, and communication across teams.
  • Budget Oversight :
  • Plan and monitor event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration :
  • Work closely with creative, client servicing, and strategy teams to ensure alignment between concept and execution.
  • Risk & Compliance Management :
  • Oversee event safety protocols, permissions, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Innovation & Quality :
  • Continuously evaluate operational methods and introduce new technologies or practices to improve efficiency and impact.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in event operations or experiential marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and complex, multi-city projects.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with event production, logistics, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of the Mumbai events ecosystem is a plus.
