Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Lead / Senior Java Developer with 8–12 years of strong backend development expertise. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, design and deliver scalable enterprise applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and efficient software solutions for Greenko’s digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Java-based enterprise applications.

Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems using Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs .

Guide and mentor a team of junior / mid-level developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Drive code reviews, performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of applications.

Implement DevOps practices (CI / CD pipelines, GitHub / Jenkins) for smooth releases and deployments.

Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements for system design and development.

Contribute to technical architecture discussions and support cloud migration strategies (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Testing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

8–12 years of experience in Java backend development with at least 3+ years in a lead role .

Strong experience in scalable enterprise applications , preferably in energy / utility or large-scale digital platforms.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
