Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at NovoStack

About the Role :

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who can ensure our products are reliable, scalable, and bug-free before they reach our users. You should have solid experience in both manual and automation testing, a strong grasp of testing frameworks and methodologies, and a keen eye for detail to catch what others might miss.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment, takes ownership of quality across the development lifecycle, and loves collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers to ship world-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / similar tools).
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs; verify fixes and regression test accordingly.
  • Ensure QA processes are followed across the SDLC.
  • Support continuous integration and deployment (CI / CD) pipelines by integrating automation tests.
  • Provide regular QA reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 3–4 years of professional experience in Software QA (manual + automation).
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Postman (for API testing).
  • Experience with SQL for database validation and queries.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with task tracking / project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Exposure to mobile app testing (Android / iOS).
