Based in North Delhi, we provide solutions such as portable planetariums and do-it-yourself astronomy kits to schools, allowing students to explore, engage, and experience astronomy concepts hands-on.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Space Science & Astronomy Educator, located in North Delhi. The Educator will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging astronomy and space science lessons, creating lesson plans, and conducting educational activities with students. They will manage and operate portable planetariums and astronomy labs, demonstrating astronomical concepts in an exciting and educational manner. Additionally, the Educator will develop DIY astronomy kits and support students in their hands-on learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Science Education and Qualified Teacher status
• Strong knowledge in Physics and Astronomy
• Experience in Lesson Planning and developing educational content
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Passion for astronomy and space science
• Ability to engage and inspire students of all ages
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Astronomy, or related field
• Prior experience in educational outreach or similar roles is beneficial
