The Sales Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales data, monitoring performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to optimize sales effectiveness. This role involves working closely with sales, marketing to identify trends, forecast demand, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.
Salary range : 5.4 lakhs per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales data to track performance against targets.
- Identify trends, variances, and growth opportunities across regions, end users, channels, and products.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for management review.
- Support sales forecasting using historical data and market trends.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to build monthly and quarterly sales projections.
- Develop and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and KPIs on sales performance.
- Automate reporting processes using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Zoho Analytics.
- Evaluate pricing strategies, discount patterns, and profitability by product or customer segment.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of sales data in CRM and ERP systems.
- Work with Marketing to assess campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Partner with Finance for revenue tracking and budgeting insights.
