Your Role

As an AEM Digital Asset Management (DAM) Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining digital asset workflows and integrations within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient asset management, metadata tagging, and seamless delivery across digital platforms.

In This Role You Will Play a Key Role In :

  • Designing and implementing AEM DAM solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Developing custom workflows, metadata schemas, and asset renditions.
  • Integrating AEM DAM with external systems (e.g., PIM, CMS, CDN).
  • Ensuring best practices in asset governance, versioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Supporting content authors and marketing teams with DAM usage and training.
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing DAM performance and scalability.

Top 5 Technical Skills

  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) DAM – Expertise in configuring and customizing AEM Assets, including metadata schemas, workflows, and renditions.
  • Java & Sling Framework – Strong backend development skills for building custom components and services within AEM.
  • Apache Jackrabbit / Oak Repository – Deep understanding of JCR structure and content repository management.
  • RESTful APIs & Integrations – Experience integrating AEM DAM with third-party systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Front-End Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) – Ability to enhance user interfaces and authoring experiences within AEM.
