Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced
Linux Administrator (L2 / L3 level)
with strong hands-on expertise in web, database, and mail server management. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Linux server administration, virtualization, and automation through scripting, along with experience in handling complex server migrations and high-availability setups.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage, configure, and maintain
Apache, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Zimbra Mail Server, WHM / cPanel & cPanel Mail .
Administer and optimize
MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB
databases including
replication, clustering, and failover configurations .
Perform
SSL integration, OS hardening, and implement server security best practices .
Manage
VMware vSphere, vCenter, HA, DRS
environments — including VM creation, deletion, and upgrades.
Execute
migration of web servers and databases
with minimal downtime.
Develop and maintain
Bash / Shell scripts
for automation and server management tasks.
Configure and manage services such as
DNS, SAMBA, NFS, VSFTPD, Apache, MySQL, and SSH .
Handle
disk management, LVM, backup, and restoration , and ensure
DC / DR readiness .
Troubleshoot issues related to
Apache, MySQL, and Linux OS
at L2 / L3 support levels.
Work with
AWS and Azure
cloud environments for basic server operations and storage management (NFS / S3).
Ensure uptime, security, and performance tuning across all Linux servers and hosted environments.
Required Skills & Competencies :
Strong command over
Linux administration (RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu) .
Hands-on experience with
Zimbra Mail Server
and
cPanel / WHM .
Proficiency in
database replication (Active-Active / Active-Passive)
setups.
Excellent knowledge of
virtualization (VMware)
and
network services configuration .
Ability to
analyze and troubleshoot production-level issues
efficiently.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach toward issue resolution.
Preferred Qualifications :
RHCE / RHCSA / VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification preferred.
Exposure to
cloud technologies (AWS / Azure) .
Experience with
automation tools
and version control systems will be an added advantage.
