ISEG Foundation, an impact-consulting organization focused on large-scale impact across employment generation and net zero transition, is looking to hire exceptional talent as Project

Leaders.

ISEG is an “action tank” in addition to a “think tank”. It measures its impact through “making things happen”. ISEG’s goal is to facilitate the creation of 10 million jobs and support 10 states in their net-zero transition journey.

ISEG is currently working with NITI Aayog on developing city-regions as “Economic Growth Hubs” through Economic Masterplanning and facilitating the energy transition journey of Indian states through the Accelerating Sustainable State Energy Transition (ASSET) Platform.

ISEG has collaborated with NITI Aayog and the respective state governments to develop Economic Master Plans for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and the Visakhapatnam Economic Region (VER). These plans were officially released in the public domain in September 2024 and November 2025 and are currently under implementation.

ISEG is the strategic partner for the ASSET Platform, anchored by NITI Aayog in partnership with the Ministry of Power and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), to support the energy transition of Indian states. ISEG developed the Energy Transition Plan for the state of Maharashtra and is currently working with the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

True to its mandate of being an “action tank”, ISEG supports both the blueprinting and implementation phases of its Economic Masterplanning and Energy Transition work.

ISEG is supported by a group of eminent stakeholders, including a leading global consulting firm, a top-tier business school, a prominent international foundation, and multiple respected Indian foundations.

ISEG is governed by an eminent Governing Council and advised by a distinguished Mentor Council comprising leading figures from industry, government and academia. Leo Puri, former Chairman of JP Morgan South & Southeast Asia, serves as Chair of ISEG’s Governing Council.

Job Profile

At ISEG, Project Leaders lead high-performing teams to identify, strategize, structure, and implement potential solutions for the complex developmental challenges in India. You will be responsible for managing stakeholders, including key government officials and other stakeholders (experts, private sector stakeholders, etc.).

You will lead the day-to-day execution of one or multiple project(s), while guiding and developing individual team members. You will collaborate with the relevant government /private stakeholders and assume ownership of the overall project and its deliverables.

You will have the opportunity to build on your leadership skills and leverage your interest in inspiring others, building strong relationships, and creating a true followership.

Project work at ISEG generally includes formulating and testing hypotheses, gathering and analyzing information, and developing recommendations for implementation by the respective government agencies. ISEG will support the relevant government agencies in the implementation phase based on the project requirements.

Project Leaders will also receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from ISEG partners and other senior leaders.

Skills and qualifications

• Passionate and purpose-driven
• University Degree with excellent academic record from leading academic Institutes
• 4-6 years of relevant “tier 1” management consulting experience
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative structured problem-solving skills
• Proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in your past positions
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment
• Initiative taker, eager to break new ground, create opportunities for others
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Location

Base location is Delhi/Gurgaon or Mumbai with frequent travel to client sites
