Currently in the development phase of our app and Minimum Viable Product (MVP), we are preparing to launch soon and bring affordable, convenient, and sustainable mobility to cities worldwide.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid CFO role based in New Delhi. The Chief Financial Officer will lead and manage all financial operations of Macro Rides from Day 1. Responsibilities include building financial models, preparing projections, overseeing budgeting, managing compliance, and owning end-to-end investor fundraising. The CFO will work closely with the founding team to drive financial strategy, long-term planning, and scalable decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end fundraising efforts for pre-seed, seed, and future rounds.

Build and maintain financial models, projections, and unit economics.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Establish and manage accounting systems, internal controls, and compliance.

Handle cash flow management, cost optimization, and runway planning.

Prepare investor decks, financial documentation, and due-diligence materials.

Work with leadership on pricing, market expansion, and strategic planning.

Ensure statutory compliance, audits, and corporate governance.

Qualifications

5+ years of finance leadership experience (startup / tech / mobility preferred).

Proven experience in fundraising and investor relations.

Strong expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting.

CA / CFA / CPA or similar qualification is preferred.

Ability to build financial systems and processes from scratch.

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
