Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Satellite Backhaul PNI Sales Specialist to lead the promotion and sales of ELCOME's Private Network Integration (PNI) services. Focusing on enterprise and government clients needing mission-critical satellite backhaul solutions from providers such as Starlink, OneWeb, and Amazon Project Kuiper, you will identify, engage, and close deals in remote and high-performance environments. The ideal candidate combines a strong telecom sales background with technical networking skills (Layer-2 and Layer-3), and the drive to expand our global reach. Your expertise will help deliver tailored, resilient solutions including AES-128 encryption, advanced QoS, and reliable, low-latency connectivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation : Target key industries—offshore energy, government & defense, telecom, media—using market research and industry networking to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Client Engagement & Solution Selling : Present and demo PNI solutions, including Layer-2 EVPL (E-Line) and Layer-3 IP (eBGP), emphasizing private network integration, flexible data pools, real-time monitoring, APIs, and 24 / 7 global support.
- Needs Assessment & Customization : Assess client requirements for site setups, MTU planning, QoS / DSCP, and recommend add-ons (cloud interconnects, on-net access, hybrid options) for resilience, low-latency, and security.
- Deal Negotiation & Closure : Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, address objections, and close sales to meet / exceed quarterly targets. Coordinate implementation and go-live support.
- Relationship Management : Build long-term client partnerships through SLA reviews, performance consultations, and upselling on expansions such as multi-homed setups or additional terminals.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting : Remain current on satellite backhaul trends; track metrics and report via CRM; help develop marketing materials and case studies.
- Collaboration : Work closely with ELCOME's NOC, field service, and presales engineers for successful deployments and maintenance, including design and security reviews.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Challenger Sale are a plus.Experience
5+ years in B2B technical sales (satellite communications, telecom, or networking preferred).Proven record selling complex services : MPLS, BGP peering, VLAN / Q-in-Q, satellite backhaul.Experience with enterprise clients in remote / offshore settings; familiarity with LEO satellites (highly desirable).Technical Knowledge
Networking concepts : Layer-2 (EVPL / E-Line, 802.1Q / 802.1ad), Layer-3 (eBGP, IPv4 / IPv6, ASN management).QoS / DSCP planning, MTU tuning, encryption (AES-128 / IPsec), resilience (BFD, active / active).Preferred : Experience with Equinix Fabric, Azure, AWS.Able to discuss metrics : latency, jitter, throughput, SLA.Skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, translating technical concepts for business stakeholders.Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.Proficient in CRM (Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and sales tools.Willingness for global travel (up to 30%).Personal Attributes
