About the Role
The Vice President – Wealth will be a senior leadership role responsible for driving the Wealth Management division’s strategy, business growth, and client portfolio expansion. The role demands a high-performing individual with strong expertise in wealth advisory, relationship management, investment solutions, and team leadership. The VP will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organisation’s presence among HNI and UHNI investors while ensuring superior service delivery and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute strategic plans to scale the Wealth Management business.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential segments to strengthen the firm’s wealth footprint.
Drive revenue growth by expanding the HNI / UHNI client base and improving product penetration.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Build and manage long-term relationships with HNI, UHNI, and corporate clients.
Provide personalized wealth advisory services aligned with client goals, risk appetite, and financial needs.
Conduct portfolio reviews, performance evaluations, and provide insights to ensure optimal client satisfaction.
3. Investment Advisory & Portfolio Management
Guide clients on asset allocation strategies and recommend investment products such as mutual funds, PMS, AIF, fixed income, structured products, and insurance solutions.
Oversee portfolio construction, risk profiling, and wealth planning activities.
Stay updated with global and domestic market trends, regulatory changes, and financial instruments.
4. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a team of relationship managers and wealth advisors.
Set performance targets, monitor progress, and ensure the team delivers high-quality client service.
Conduct training sessions on product knowledge, sales strategies, and compliance standards.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines (SEBI, RBI, IRDAI, AMFI, etc.).
Implement processes that minimize operational risks and ensure ethical business practices.
Oversee documentation, KYC, onboarding, and audit requirements.
6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with product teams, research teams, and the investment desk to deliver superior solutions to clients.
Collaborate with senior management to align business objectives and performance goals.
Support partnerships with financial institutions, AMC partners, and external product providers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
MBA / PGDM in Finance, Wealth Management, or related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications such as NISM, CFP, CFA (Level I / II), or other wealth-related credentials will be an added advantage.
10–15 years of experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Investment Advisory, or Financial Services.
Proven track record of managing HNI / UHNI clients and delivering revenue growth.
Experience in leading teams and managing senior client relationships.
