Job descriptionTake technical ownership of our core SaaS platform (Python, MySQL, Celery, OpenSearch, Redis, React frontend). Train and Deploy ML models at scale Make architectural and design decisions that impact scalability, performance, and reliability. Lead and mentor a small team of developers; instill best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Drive DevOps & infrastructure choices (AWS, Docker, GPU servers for ML inference, Github.). Partner with the founder (current acting CTO) and step into leadership of technical roadmap planning and R&D. Collaborate with product, sales, and customers to deliver features that create clear business value. Champion security, compliance, and reliability across the platform. Backend : Python, FastAPI, Celery, REST APIs Data & Search : MySQL, OpenSearch, Redis / Valkey Frontend / Design : React, Next.js, Tailwind, Framer Motion, Figma Infrastructure : Docker Swarm, AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, n8n ML / AI : NVIDIA GPUs, Triton inference server, custom models Workflows : Celery distributed tasks 8+ years experience in software engineering with a track record of shipping SaaS products. Strong expertise in Python, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures. Deep experience in databases, caching, queues, and search at scale. Comfort with AWS services, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and CI / CD pipelines. Experience with machine learning pipelines, GPU inference Experience with Image / Video processing at scale is a plus Clear communicator and a strong sense of ownership Able to work with Startup Hustle — thrives in a fast-moving environment that values delivery speed, ambiguity, teamwork, and multi-hat ownership. Experience (or interest) in mentoring and technical decision-making Eager to learn business context and drive outcomes, not just code Ambition to grow into a CTO role within 12–18 months Within 3 months : Owns key modules, delivers high-quality code, and improves system performance Within 6–9 months : Independently leads product / feature releases Within 12–18 months : Oversees all technical decisions, engineering operations, oversee enterprise customer infrastructure Impact & Ownership : Directly influence the technical direction of a growing SaaS platform.
