HR Manager – Job Description (Standalone Role, Kerala - Kochi) Overview
We are looking for an HR Manager who will manage the entire HR function independently for our India operations. The candidate must have strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, HR compliance, PF / ESI, payroll, and recruitment .
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle recruitment for all India positions.
- Manage onboarding, HR documentation, background checks & exit formalities.
- Process monthly payroll, attendance, leave management, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).
- Maintain employee records, HRMIS, contracts, and statutory registers.
- Address employee queries, grievances, and engagement initiatives.
- Implement HR policies, performance reviews, probation assessments, and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate with management on HR planning, reporting, and manpower needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.3–5 years of broad HR experience in India.Strong understanding of PF, ESI, Gratuity, minimum wages, labour codes, and statutory compliance.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
