Responsibilities :
- Client Engagement Execution : Execute internal audit engagements for clients, specifically within the Public Works Department (PWD) domain, ensuring high-quality delivery that aligns precisely with client requirements.
- Working Paper Review & Improvement : Conduct thorough reviews of working papers and client folders. Proactively suggest ideas for improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities to enhance client service.
- Business Process Improvement : Develop a deep understanding of client business and industry issues / trends. Identify areas within the client's business processes that require improvement to facilitate the preparation of actionable recommendations.
- Data Analytics : Effectively handle and utilize data analytics tools such as Access, ACL, and similar platforms to extract insights and support audit findings.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance : Ensure strict compliance with engagement plans and adherence to internal quality and risk management procedures throughout the audit process.
- Auditing Standards Adherence : Apply strong awareness of internal auditing standards issued by the IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors) and ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) in all audit activities.
- Problem-Solving : Demonstrate an application and solution-based approach to problem-solving techniques, providing practical and effective recommendations.
- Budget Management & Business Development Support : Manage engagement budgets effectively. Support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, preparing business proposals, and contributing to the development of new solutions / methodologies within the practice.
- Client Relationship Management : Develop strong working relationships with clients, including process owners and functional heads, fostering trust and effective collaboration.
- Mentoring & Development : Pay keen attention to detail and actively mentor junior interns and analysts within the practice, contributing to their professional growth.
- Knowledge Management : Contribute actively to knowledge management sessions within the practice, sharing insights and best practices.
Required Skills :
