About the role :
Responsible for conceptualizing, developing and managing digital investment products and platforms. This includes client facing tools (e.g., mobile apps, websites, portals etc.), advisor platforms and backend systems that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding and user centric design.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Digital Strategy & Transformation :
- Develop and implement the firm's digital roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Lead digital innovation initiatives including AI, blockchain, and data analytics.
- Drive transformation across client onboarding, portfolio management, reporting, and distribution channels.
- Align product goals with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify digital opportunities.
2. Product & Platform Leadership :
Oversee the design and delivery of digital investment platforms (e.g., robo-advisory, mobile apps, client portals).Collaborate with product, technology, and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration and regulatory adherence.Evaluate and onboard third-party digital solutions and fintech partnerships.Lead agile product development cycles and sprint planning.3. Customer Experience & Design :
Champion user-centered design principles to ensure intuitive and engaging digital experiences.Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and feedback loops to refine features.Monitor usage metrics and optimize UX / UI based on data insights4.Data-Driven Decision Making :
Define and track KPIs such as user engagement, conversion rates, and retention.Use analytics tools to derive insights and inform product iterations.Leverage A / B testing and experimentation to validate hypotheses.5.Innovation & Transformation :
Drive digital transformation initiatives within the AMC.Explore emerging technologies like AI, ML, blockchain, and APIs for product enhancement.Identify automation opportunities to streamline operations and improve scalability.6.Governance & Compliance :
Ensure digital initiatives comply with SEBI and other regulatory frameworks.Establish governance models for digital product development and risk management.Monitor KPIs such as digital adoption, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.7.Team Leadership & Collaboration :
Build and mentor a high-performing digital team across product, tech, and marketing.Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with senior leadership to align digital goals with enterprise Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree in finance is preferred.8-10 years from Tier 1 institute or 10-12 years (Others). Experience in digital leadership roles, preferably in financial services or asset management.Proven track record in digital transformation, platform development, and client engagement.Strong understanding of investment products, fintech ecosystems, and regulatory environments.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Success Metrics :
