Senior Research Associate – Cell Line Engineering

We are seeking a full-time bench scientist to join our team as a Senior Research Associate . This role involves hands-on execution of wet lab experiments in the domains of cell and protein sciences , under the guidance of senior scientific managers.

Qualifications :

MSc / MTech in applied biological sciences such as Biotechnology , Microbiology , Cell Biology , Biochemistry , or related fields.

Experience :

3–5 years of relevant industry experience post MSc / MTech.

Hands on experience in Cell Line Engineering,CHO , HEK293 is a MUST.

Technical Expertise Required :

Proficient in handling mammalian cell lines including CHO , HEK293 , and various cancer cell lines .

Skilled in stable cell line generation using techniques like transfection , electroporation , and lentiviral transduction .

Experience in single-cell cloning , SDS-PAGE , Western blotting , ELISA, luminescence assay.

Knowledge of lentivirus and AAV production , including titer estimation .

Competent in flow cytometry for cell line analysis;

experience with FACS sorting is a plus.

Familiarity with QC analysis of cell lines using diverse methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Execute experiments as per instructions from the manager.

Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies.

Maintain accurate and detailed lab notebooks .

Organize and store raw data systematically.

Operate and maintain lab equipment in accordance with SOPs and housekeeping standards.

Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team environment.

Continuously enhance technical knowledge through formal and informal learning.

Participate in behavioural development activities including workshops and feedback sessions.
