Job description

Experience : Freshers to 2 years (Graduates or Diploma holders in Fashion Designing)

About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate and creative Assistant Fashion Designer to support our design team in developing ethnic, couture, and contemporary fashion collections. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, a strong understanding of fabrics and embellishments, and a deep appreciation for Indian craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in the development of new collections across ethnic, fusion, and western couture lines.
Have a working knowledge of embroideries, fabrics, dyeing techniques, and hand block / screen printing.
Support the design process from concept to execution, including fabric sourcing, sampling, and coordination with production teams.
Contribute to styling and visual presentation for lookbooks, campaigns, and retail displays.
Stay updated with current trends and bring creative inputs to enhance design aesthetics.
Collaborate closely with the design and merchandising teams to ensure timely delivery of samples.

Preferred Qualifications :

Graduate or Diploma in Fashion Design or Textile Design.

Prior experience or internship exposure in retail design, especially in casuals, formals, or ethnic wear, will be a plus.

Strong interest in Indian ethnic and ceremonial wear as well as western haute couture.

Excellent understanding of colors, silhouettes, and surface ornamentation.
