The Opportunity :

We are looking for sharp, high agency individuals who have no previous experience in political consulting but are interested in exploring this sector to join us as Senior Associates in our Strategic Transformation Team. Those selected into the team will go through a 5 month immersion programme centered around our Head Office in Noida, requiring travel across India where they will be introduced to the various aspects of a political consulting organization.

After the immersion programme, selected team members will be deployed into active campaigns and other long term initiatives currently underway at Varahe.

Team members will have the opportunity to directly work under the Senior Vice President at Varahe during the immersion programme. Eventually, you will be asked to work on a wide range of projects across India that shape public opinion and policy decisions.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking out for those with an interest in political and policy consulting towards the larger aim of nation building.

• Engineers who have worked for a minimum of 2 years in startups and other high pressure environments.
• MBAs (preferably with engineering / computational social sciences backgrounds) with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• Polymaths / autodidacts who are widely read on Indian politics, history, society and economics. Those with math and statistics literacy will be preferred.

Necessary Skills :

Professional proficiency in English and working proficiency in Hindi or at least one other Indian language. Those proficient in multiple Indian languages will be preferred.
