Job descriptionExperience in IVR coding , including simple and complex cases. Certification is compulsory (e.g., CCS / CPC / CPC-H / CIC / COC from AAPC / AHIMA). Good knowledge of human anatomy and physiology . Exposure to CPT-4, ICD-10, Modifiers, HCPCS , and Vascular and Non-Vascular coding . Experience in Excode and ImageNow is a plus.
We are seeking a Client Partner with expertise in Interventional Radiology (IVR) Coding . The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical reports, accurately identifying procedures and diagnoses, and applying the correct codes and modifiers. This role is crucial for resolving coding-related denials and ensuring claims are processed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical reports thoroughly.
- Identify the procedures / interventional services and diagnosis.
- Add CPT, ICD-10 , and Modifiers as appropriate.
- Work on coding-related denials or coding issues to get the claim paid or processed to the next level.
