Chief Financial Officer (Event / Media Industry)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the financial strategy, planning, and budgeting process.

Manage accounting, taxation, and compliance activities in line with statutory

requirements.

Monitor cash flow, investments, and working capital to ensure financial stability.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.

Oversee vendor payments, client billing, and receivables management.

Build strong financial models for evaluating new business opportunities and cost

optimization.

Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.

Establish internal controls and ensure robust risk management practices.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Requirements

CA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.

4–6 years of proven experience in finance, preferably in the event management /

entertainment / media / hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.

Hands-on experience in financial planning, MIS reporting, and cash flow

management.

Proficiency in financial software, MS Excel, and ERP tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative, and dynamic environment.
