About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js & PHP Software Engineer to join our centralized technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable web applications, backend services, and APIs using Node.js and PHP. This role requires a problem solver with excellent coding practices and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and PHP .
Build scalable APIs and integrate them with front-end and third-party systems.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of software development experience with a strong focus on Node.js and PHP.

Proficiency in JavaScript, PHP, and modern frameworks / libraries.

Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or similar).

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side architecture.

Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI / CD pipelines.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
