We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to lead and strengthen our Fraud Risk Management framework. This role involves comprehensively assessing and mitigating both customer fraud risks and internal fraud risks, developing and implementing robust fraud prevention strategies, and enhancing existing controls and policies.The ideal candidate will leverage advanced data analytics, statistical techniques, and predictive modeling to proactively detect anomalies, identify suspicious trends, and ensure a rapid, compliant fraud detection and response mechanism across the organization.Job Description :
Fraud Risk Strategy and Governance :
Lead the assessment and technical evaluation of enterprise-wide fraud risks, systematically identifying vulnerabilities related to both Customer Fraud Risks (e.g., account takeover, application fraud) and Internal Fraud Risks (e.g., collusion, asset misappropriation).Take ownership of drafting and executing the comprehensive Fraud Risk Management Program (FRMP), ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.Critically review existing organizational policies (e.g., ACAB policy) and security controls, recommending precise, technical changes and drafting new policies and internal controls as required to close emerging risk gaps.Develop and implement strategic measures to mitigate identified fraud risks, including the technical enhancement of existing fraud prevention measures and the creation of new, targeted mitigation strategies.Data Analytics and Fraud Detection :
Apply statistical techniques and predictive modeling to analyze large, complex datasets, detecting anomalies and identifying emerging fraud trends and patterns indicative of potential risk exposure.Utilize advanced data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Python, specialized fraud detection platforms) to build and maintain dashboards that proactively identify suspicious patterns, transactions, and activities.Maintain and technically optimize the organization's fraud detection systems and technologies, ensuring high accuracy, low false positive rates, and maximum operational efficiency.Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of both automated and manual fraud risk internal controls, recommending technical adjustments for optimization and greater deterrence.Incident Response and Stakeholder CollaborationLead and conduct thorough fraud incident investigations, ensuring all response actions and documentation strictly comply with internal legal and external regulatory requirements.Prepare detailed reports on incident findings, response actions, and root cause analysis, keeping all internal (Senior Leadership, Legal) and external stakeholders informed at all stages of the process.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (IT, Compliance, Operations) to share actionable insights, address identified control weaknesses, and facilitate the seamless implementation of new fraud prevention measures.Work directly with insurance carriers to efficiently process claims and documentation in the event of a material fraud incident.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience : Mandatory 3-5 years of specialized experience in Fraud Risk Management, Data Analysis, or a related role.Analytical Skills : Proven ability to analyze large data sets, detect anomalies, and apply statistical or quantitative methods for risk prediction.Regulatory / Policy : Experience drafting, reviewing, and implementing fraud-related policies, internal controls, and governance programs.Technical Skills : Proficiency in using data analysis and reporting tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau) for fraud pattern identification.Investigation : Experience supporting or leading fraud incident investigations and maintaining compliant documentation.Education : Mandatory Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
