Job description

Our client is looking for a MDM analyst who assists in the performing data analysis in both in the application database and the analytical databases. Responsible for identifying data quality issues regards to accuracy & completeness, create source to target data mapping, create business rules.

Roles and Responsibilities (MDM Analyst) :

Over 5 years’ experience with Data Stewardship, data quality and data analysis.
2-5 years’ experience defining and implementing data quality score cards with business outcome impacts.
Solid experience in writing and optimising SQL , PL / SQL
Experience with reporting tools such as Qlik Sense / Tableau / PowerBI
Provide data quality profiling approach, metrics and perform analysis as needed. Perform research and analysis as needed.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Contribute to the design and develop the architecture for a robust MDM platform that matches and consolidates key data subject areas in a manner that is aligned to the company’s strategic vision.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture teams (data integration, data architecture, business intelligence) to develop and deliver MDM solutions and work with Architecture Review Board and Data Governance Approval Board for technical reviews and approvals through the system development life-cycle
Assist in requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivor ship criteria and data stewardship workflows that can be deployed in the endorsed MDM tool
Expertized in critical thinking to analyze problems, document needs and communicate these needs to a variety of audiences required.
Understanding of data governance and audit process as it relates to MDM
Actively participate and influence in agile planning, backlog refinement and implement to Agile methodology, process, and standards
Experience working with an external managed service provider.
Ability to collaborate across the organization and influence the team
Document and deliver vital artifacts.

Additional Requirements (MDM Analyst) :

Must have proven working experience as a MDM data analyst and / or business data analyst.

Technical understanding of data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques required.

Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL queries and Data Profiling / Quality tools.

Experience in building and maintaining Source-to-Target Mapping and data lineage.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Rich analytical skills and critical thinking to analyze problems, document needs and communicate these needs to a variety of audiences required.

Collaboration with both onshore and off-shore development teams
