Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Scala Developer to work with high-performing software and applications at the forefront of the digital telecommunications industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating user needs and business requirements into detailed technical solutions, designing and implementing performant functionality, and ensuring system reliability and scalability on cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed designs, solutions, and functional specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement new functionality using Scala, following best practices and approved coding standards.
• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to establish monitoring and alerting systems to ensure reliability and meet error budgets.
• Fix vulnerabilities and assess upgrade / patch needs to maintain application and infrastructure security.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and high availability of applications deployed on Kubernetes and cloud environments.
