Position : Senior Python Engineer (Service Implementation)

Location : Remote

Type : Freelance / Contract

Contract Duration : 9 Months

Work Hours : 8 hrs / day with 4 hours PST overlap

About the Role

We are looking for exceptional Senior Python Engineers with deep backend engineering expertise to help us design and implement real-world services (like Gmail, Jira, etc.) as scalable, modular APIs.

This is a high-impact, engineering-focused role where you will work in a fast-paced environment, following strict Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, building production-grade systems, and maintaining excellent documentation.

📌 Note : This is a software engineering role, not related to data science, ML, analytics, or data

annotation.

What You’ll Do

• Build modular, production-grade APIs for real-world service integrations.
• Follow TDD rigorously — tests first, code second .
• Design high-quality backend architectures with scalability and reliability in mind.
• Create clean, developer-friendly API documentation.
• Design and iterate strong database schemas and data models.
• Make clear technical decisions, explaining trade-offs and rationale.
• Deliver high output without sacrificing code quality or clarity.
