1. Understand (including formats, software, statutory requirements etc) &
convert the tender scope & specifications into a summary document to
facilitate a bid / no bid discussion.
2. Summarize the customer / consultant specifications & create a
Deviation / clarification list (in consultation with E+H product specialists /
extended partners). Initiate & Participate in technical clarification meetings
with customers / consultants / construction contractors / engineering
contractors for resolving / clarifying our deviations.
3. Perform the role of embedded engineers at customer locations.
4. Prepare an optimum scope matrix (covering supply, warrantee & service).
5. Create proposal Bill Of Material to match customer specs & accepted
deviations / clarifications in ERP environment (SAP).
6. Identify the global team with acceptance from the functional leaders for
execution of the project (when we win the contract), covering manufacturing,
Project management / Operations, Commercial, Finance, Legal, service &
logistics functions.
7. Identify gaps' (capacity / skills / products / extended partners) before
submission of offer
8. Compile the formal Technical document to suit the tender requirements
(compliance report / product catalogues / Preliminary drawings, Bar-chart / Gan-
chart, ITP, QAP etc.).
9. Proactive in managing 'bid submission dates' with customer with support
from local sales team member.
10. Identify options for managing the extended scope for each proposal where by
we add value to our customer & make a winning proposition.
11. Develop winning proposal bids regarding scope, schedule, performance and
terms and conditions.
