Job description

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript).

  • Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing of web applications.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and improve test coverage.
  • Maintain test data and test environments.
  • Contribute to improving test strategies and automation frameworks.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
  • Hands-on experience in Playwright for web testing.
  • Strong knowledge of testing concepts, defect lifecycle, and Agile practices.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Experience with Git and CI tools (like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
  • Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
