AI & Data Engineer – Full-Stack Software Builder at Cityscope

Our platform connects people to city stories, creators, and experiences through apps, communities, and AI-driven tools. At the heart of this vision is our City Discovery platform that helps citizens discover, connect, transact and earn—seamlessly across WhatsApp, web, and app interfaces.

We're looking for an AI & Data Engineer who is also a software engineer and builder at heart. Someone excited to design and ship large scale, real world AI systems that blend LLMs, data engineering, and product infrastructure . If you've built end-to-end pipelines, retrieval systems, or agents and want to push the frontier of city scale intelligence, this role is your playground.

What you'll do

• Build, deploy, and scale LLM-powered workflows , from fine-tuning to inference optimization.
• Architect multilingual, multimodal systems spanning text, voice, and images—tailored for India's diversity.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with embeddings, hybrid search, and vector DBs.
• Design real-time agents and tool-calling systems for discovery, recommendations, and conversational transactions.
• Engineer data pipelines : cleaning, structuring, and streaming hyperlocal content from multiple sources.
• Run offline / online experiments to improve accuracy, reliability, and latency at scale.
• Build internal AI tooling for observability, evaluation, and safety—making AI explainable and citizen-first.
