Job Title : Head of Accounts & Finance

About the Role : We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Accounts to lead our finance and accounting function. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in corporate compliances, financial reporting, and audit management, with proven leadership skills to manage and develop an efficient accounts team. Prior experience in the export and garment / textile industry will be a significant advantage.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the entire accounts and finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Independently prepare and finalize financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L accounts.
• Ensure statutory compliances related to GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, ROC filings, and other regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and external consultants for audits and regulatory submissions.
• Monitor cash flows, working capital, and cost control measures to support business efficiency.
• Implement strong internal controls, accounting systems, and financial discipline across departments.
• Review and authorize vendor payments, payroll, and other disbursements.
• Provide financial insights and MIS reports to management for decision-making.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively within the accounts team while ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Collaborate with export documentation, banking, and operations teams to streamline export receivables and compliance.
