The fun stuff you'll be doing

  • Focus on delivering automated tests in core technologies
  • Create test documentation
  • Define test scope for the tested area and identify the risk
  • Define and improve the QA processes
  • Provide support to other team members
  • Lead and input into technical discussions

Requirements

  • Should have minimum 6 years of previous commercial experience with manual and automation testing
  • Should have minimum 3 yrs of experience in test automation
  • Should have experience working with Cypress.io and / or Playwright
  • Good knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language
  • Excellent understanding of the testing techniques, strong experience with manual testing, and some experience in non-functional testing
  • Knowledge of good practices in testing and the ability to use them in a practical way
  • Have excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people with the ability to explain complicated technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Should have experience in API testing using Postman
  • Ability to mentor and guide more junior testers
  • Hands-on experience with Databases / Advanced Excel is a big plus
  • Experience working with large datasets or large customer base is a big plus
  • Root cause analysis
  • Test reporting
  • Knowledge of CI / CD setup, SQL databases, Monitoring services eg Rollbar, New Relic, Test design, programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Test planning and QA strategy
  • Knowledge of Python, Java is an added advantage
