Job descriptionLead end-to-end product strategy across design, buying, and merchandising. Oversee trend forecasting, seasonal range planning, and product lifecycle management. Guide the design team on collections, fabrics, colours, and innovation. Manage vendor sourcing, negotiations, pricing, and quality standards. Drive OTB planning, category financials, and inventory optimization. Improve sell-through, stock turns, and overall product profitability. Monitor product performance across retail, ecommerce, and other channels. Align product launches with marketing, retail operations, and supply chain. Ensure timely sampling, proto approvals, and production readiness. Build and lead a cross-functional team of designers, buyers, and merchandisers. Analyse consumer insights and competition to inform product decisions. Maintain the right product mix, pricing architecture, and margin structure. Ensure adherence to brand DNA, quality guidelines, and design aesthetics. Drive strategic initiatives such as sustainability or private label expansion. Deliver strong business outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
