NIKSUN is seeking a Network Storage Engineer, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role focuses on the development, deployment, and maintenance of highly available, scalable storage and container orchestration systems. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Ceph, ZFS, and NFS storage technologies

Key responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain distributed storage systems including Ceph, ZFS, and NFS for use across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus
• Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI / CD and infrastructure reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Education requirements :

The role involves working with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of cloud projects, including migration, containerization, and transformation initiatives. Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, ITAR, etc.) is beneficial.
