Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

Android Lead

with exceptional

technical expertise and strong communication skills . The ideal candidate will lead Android development initiatives, drive architectural decisions, mentor team members, and ensure delivery of high-quality mobile applications. This role requires a balance of hands-on development and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Android applications.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative features.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.

Drive architectural decisions and recommend modern frameworks and tools.

Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior developers.

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality metrics.

Ensure smooth integration with backend APIs and cloud services.

Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, libraries, and frameworks.

Act as a key point of contact for technical discussions with stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

Strong expertise in

Android development using Kotlin and Java .

Solid understanding of

Android SDK, Jetpack components, MVVM / MVP / MVC architecture .

Hands-on experience with

API integration (REST / GraphQL) , data storage (Room, SQLite), and offline capabilities.

Proficiency in

unit testing, UI testing, and automation frameworks .

Strong knowledge of

Play Store publishing, app lifecycle management, and performance optimization .

Familiarity with

CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) .

Excellent

communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills .

Good to Have

Experience with

Flutter / React Native

for cross-platform apps.

Knowledge of

cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

and mobile app security best practices.

Exposure to

Agile / Scrum methodologies

and stakeholder management.
