Role Description

This is a full-time remote Senior Data Engineer role. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing data models, implementing and managing ETL processes, and utilizing data warehousing to enable advanced analytics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business goals is also an essential part of the role, requiring a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Data Engineering and Data Modeling for managing large-scale datasets
• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools
• Strong background in designing and developing Data Warehousing solutions
• Proficiency in Data Analytics for enabling data-driven decision-making
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience with MLOps and DevOps practices
• Advanced programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and contribute in a remote, collaborative environment
• Experience with distributed data systems such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus
