Job Description

US Mortgage Processor

Location : Infopark, Kochi

Qualification : Graduation (Mandatory, B.Tech excluded)

Experience : Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in US Mortgage underwriting required

Work Days : 5 Days a Week

Salary :   Upto  6 LPA (Based on previous experience and package)

Shift : 6 PM- 3AM

Immediate Joiners are Preferred

Responsibilities

Assess complex loan transactions, including credit reports, income documents, asset verification, appraisals, and title documents , ensuring compliance with FNMA / FHLMC guidelines.

Perform credit analysis and risk assessment to determine borrower eligibility.

Conduct financial statement analysis including tax returns, pay stubs, W-2s, and bank statements.

Validate and analyze loan applications using Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS) .

Conduct property valuation and appraisal review to confirm market value and guideline adherence.

Review and validate all mortgage-related documents to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.

Identify and resolve data discrepancies and underwriting challenges .

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage documentation requirements for various loan programs.

Requirements

Strong familiarity with FNMA and FHLMC guidelines is mandatory.

Proficiency in Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS) .

Experience in credit, income, asset, and property document analysis .

Laura Mac experience is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills .

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
