Primary Responsibility :

Installing electrical systems in new construction, renovations, or upgrades, including wiring, lighting, outlets, and control panels.

Maintenance :

Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential hazards.

Repair :

Diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions, such as faulty wiring, damaged components, or tripped breakers.

Troubleshooting :

Identifying and resolving electrical problems using various testing devices and tools.

Safety Compliance :

Ensuring all work adheres to safety regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.

Reading Blueprints and Schematics :

Interpreting technical drawings to understand the layout and requirements of electrical systems.

Documentation :

Maintaining records of work performed, including materials used, repairs made, and inspections conducted.

Collaboration :

Working with other tradespeople, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Mentorship :

In some cases, guiding and training apprentices or junior electricians.
