We are seeking an experienced DM / Manager - Plant IR to manage industrial relations and HR functions at a manufacturing plant. This role is crucial for maintaining positive union relationships, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting key HR activities such as hiring and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Industrial Relations (IR) :
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with union members and their leaders .
- Handle employee complaints and take care of disciplinary actions when needed.
- Make sure the company follows all labor laws and legal rules.
- Coordinate with labor department officials and maintain positive relations with external stakeholders.
HR & Administration :
Help with hiring new employees , onboarding, and employee engagement programs.Keep records of employee attendance, leaves, and other details.Look after plant services like the canteen, security, and housekeeping.Support in applying HR policies and preparing reports as required.Skills Required
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related area.At least 10 years of experience in HR and IR, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.Good knowledge of labor laws and experience dealing with unions.Strong communication, people, and negotiation skills .Skills Required
