Job description

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports that help drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, and SQL, with a keen eye for performance optimization and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, publish, and schedule interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Connect to data sources, import data, and transform it using Power Query (M language).
Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and custom visuals to meet business needs.
Build efficient data models for reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage user roles and permissions.
Optimize report performance through best practices in data modeling and visualization.
Maintain and enhance existing reports and dashboards to improve user experience.
Work closely with data engineering teams for data integration and ETL processes.
Provide documentation, training, and support to end-users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI report development .

Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and data modeling .

Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).

Experience working with Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, app deployment).

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes .

Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
