Job descriptionFile & text : ls, cp, mv, rm, touch, cat, less, more, head, tail Search & text processing : grep, awk, sed, sort, uniq, wc, cut System & process : ps, top, htop, uptime, kill, nice, nohup Disk & memory : df, du, lsblk, mount, umount, free Networking : ip, ss, netstat, ping, traceroute, scp, rsync, ssh Package & services : yum, dnf, apt, rpm, systemctl, service User and group management File permissions, ownership, and ACL basics Process and service management (systemctl, chkconfig) Package management (yum / apt / rpm) Disk and file system management (mount, df, du) Basic networking concepts and commands (ip, netstat, ping, ssh) Log monitoring and basic troubleshooting Introductory shell scripting and cron jobs Understanding of Windows OS fundamentals User and group management (Local Users & Groups, Active Directory basics) File system and NTFS permissions Service and process management Basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting System updates, patching, and basic system : Experience with application servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss) and basic database knowledge
