Vice President - Engineering Management

Description :

• Minimum 15 years progressive experience in performance engineering.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering scalable, high-performance solutions in complex environments.
• Mastery with automation tools (Load Runner, JMeter) and monitoring platforms (Splunk, Grafana), including advanced query writing (LogQL, PromQL).
• Deep expertise in APM tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace) and end-to-end monitoring.
• Strong scripting / automation skills in Linux / Unix environments.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python) highly preferred
• Drive end-to-end performance engineering initiatives for large-scale, business-critical applications.
• Lead and mentor performance engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Engage directly with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and SREs to architect scalable, efficient, and highly reliable systems.
• Oversee the design and execution of sophisticated performance testing strategies, workload models, and realistic production scenarios.
• Guide the automation of business transactions and performance validation across diverse platforms.
• Champion the use of monitoring and APM tools (Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace) to proactively identify, analyze, and resolve performance issues.
• Perform advanced root cause analyses and implement best-in-class corrective / preventive actions.
• Bring thought leadership in performance engineering, framework / tool development, and process optimization
• Advocate for engineering best practices, performance standards, and innovative approaches to performance challenges.
