Job Description
About the Role :
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant who has hands-on experience in GST, Tally, Excel, Import documentation, and employee expense management. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing day-to-day accounting operations with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Handle GST-related work, including preparation, filing, and reconciliation.
Maintain and update Tally entries such as sales, purchase, receipts, payments, credit notes, and journal entries.
Prepare and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Formulas).
Manage Import documentation, including preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, BOE documents, and coordinating with logistics partners.
Verify, process, and clear employee expenses and reimbursements.
Maintain proper records of vendor bills, payments, and receivables.
Assist in monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
Coordinate with internal departments and external parties like auditors, vendors, and banks.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of GST rules, returns, and reconciliation.
Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
Experience in preparing import-related documents.
Good understanding of accounting principles.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
