Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer with over 3 years of experience to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the complete design and engineering of HVAC systems for diverse projects, including Chilled Water Systems and VRF Systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution from design to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

  • End-to-end HVAC system design (Chilled Water System, VRF, Ducting, Piping, Air Distribution)
  • Perform detailed heat load calculations as per ASHRAE, ISHRAE & NBC Standards
  • Conduct AHU, fan, pump, duct, and pipe sizing & selection
  • Prepare duct and pipe design layouts including smoke extraction and pressurization systems
  • Design ventilation systems for car parking, kitchens, and other spaces
  • Equipment selection and system layout planning

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Interpret and work from architectural and MEP drawings
  • Manage multiple projects under tight timelines and ensure timely delivery

    • Documentation & Estimation

  • Develop BOQ (Bill of Quantities), design basis reports, and technical specifications
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations
  • Create technical presentations and proposals

    • Compliance

  • Ensure HVAC designs comply with relevant international and Indian codes & standards
  • Maintain energy-efficient and environmentally friendly design practices

    • Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in HVAC design (preferably with MEP consultants)
  • Proficient in using HAP software for heat load calculations
  • Strong understanding of ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and NBC codes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other design software / tools
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills
  • Ability to manage workload under pressure and meet deadlines
