We are seeking a customer-focused Product Specialist to drive the growth of an assigned product portfolio. This is a technical, customer-facing role where you will ensure the successful adoption of new technology, serve as the technical escalation pathway, and act as a sales leader for the products. You will coordinate with various stakeholders to overcome challenges, maintain customer satisfaction, and achieve sales targets. The active use of a CRM system like SFDC is essential for managing activities and customer interactions effectively.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks
- Act as a technical sales leader for assigned products, driving and coordinating activities to achieve sales targets.
- Work with customers on all aspects of the assigned product and its relevant applications, including demos, training, and technical positioning.
- Actively use SFDC to manage and document leads, opportunities, and all customer interactions.
- Analyze CRM data to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance.
- Train salespeople to ensure a high level of product knowledge is maintained throughout the sales organization.
- Partner with Product Development and Management teams to support new product launches and provide feedback on customer workflows and market trends.
- Promote products in conferences, publications, and presentations, and build relationships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) .
- Lead technical and quality escalations for the assigned products.
Qualifications
Academic degree in life sciences or engineering . A higher level of education is a strong plus.Relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry as an application specialist or scientist in product development.Skills
Technical leadership with an outstanding understanding of the technology behind the products and their applications.A data-driven mindset coupled with high business acumen and a passion for business impact.Excellent project management skills , with the ability to plan and deliver against tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening skills .Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools.Fluency in both spoken and written English .Willingness to travel up to 50% , as the role is heavily focused on external customers.Skills Required
