Job Description – Senior Director – Strategy & Planning
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing brand strategies across industries for both enterprise and consumer brands, guiding market research, shaping brand identity, and developing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies. This role will require a strong strategic mindset, creativity, and proven experience in managing large-scale brand initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead brand positioning studies and conduct primary and secondary research to understand consumer behaviour and define the position
- Understand and apply frameworks
- Create guidelines that define the brand voice both online and offline (including terminology and slogans)
- Conduct in-depth competitive research to identify opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Design and oversee promotional campaigns for product launches and new market entry.
- Develop marketing and communication strategies aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of advertising and marketing campaigns, recommending data-driven improvements.
- Act as a brand custodian while managing strategic accounts and high-impact projects.
Requirements :
6-9 years of proven work experience as a Brand Strategist or in a senior marketing / branding role with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and analytical skillsStrong portfolio of brand-building and strategy projects.Deep understanding of the full marketing mix and evolving digital landscape.Expertise in market segmentation, consumer research, and competitive analysis.Strong analytical, data-driven thinking combined with creative problem-solving.Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
