Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Oracle PPM Specialist
with strong functional or techno-functional expertise across Oracle ERP Cloud / E-Business Suite (EBS). The candidate will be responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting Project Portfolio Management modules, ensuring seamless project planning, cost control, billing, and financial tracking across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Implementation
Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle PPM modules including :
Project Costing
Project Billing
Project Contracts
Project Financial Management
Project Budgeting & Planning
Grants Management (if applicable)
Conduct requirement analysis, fit-gap assessment, design workshops, and solution mapping.
Functional Configuration
Configure PPM modules, project types, billing rules, burden schedules, agreements, T&M / fixed price projects.
Set up cost allocation rules, expenditure types, budget versions, and project structures (WBS).
Prepare MD50 / BR100 and other functional documentation.
Project Accounting & Financial Integration
Integrate PPM with :
Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA)
Supply Chain modules (PO, Inventory)
Ensure accurate project cost capture, revenue recognition, and accounting distributions.
Testing & Deployment
Create test scripts, conduct SIT / UAT, and support users during deployment.
Support data migration : project master data, budgets, agreements, cost transactions.
Support & Enhancements
Provide post-production support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements.
Work with Oracle SRs for product defects or clarifications.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Interact with business users, PMO, finance teams, and IT leadership.
Conduct knowledge transfer, training sessions, and functional walkthroughs.
Required Skills & Expertise
Strong hands-on experience in
Oracle PPM Cloud and / or Oracle EBS PPM .
Deep knowledge of : Project Costing
Project Billing
Project Contracts
Revenue Recognition
Budgeting & Forecasting
Project Integration with Financials
Experience with
Oracle Fusion PPM (cloud)
preferred.
Ability to write functional specs and collaborate with technical teams.
Understanding of project accounting principles (CAPEX / OPEX, WIP, CIP).
Strong issue resolution, communication, and client-facing skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of
Oracle OTL (Time & Labor) ,
Procurement ,
Expenses .
Technical familiarity with
BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL .
Experience in
Agile / Waterfall
methodologies.
Oracle Cloud certification is a strong plus.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or IT.
Oracle ERP Cloud certifications preferred.
