Job Description
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with plant startup and ramp-up timelines.
Partner with senior leadership and JV partners to define organizational structure and staffing models.
Lead cultural transformation initiatives to embed values of safety, quality, and innovation.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Drive end-to-end hiring for plant roles-from shop-floor technicians to senior managers.
Collaborate with local institutions and government bodies for skill development and hiring pipelines.
Forecast manpower needs across phases of construction, commissioning, and operations.
3. Employee Relations & Compliance
Set up statutory compliance frameworks (Factories Act, labor laws, EHS standards).
Build grievance redressal mechanisms and foster a positive industrial relations climate.
Liaise with local authorities and labor unions, if applicable.
4. HR Operations & Systems
Implement HRIS, payroll, time & attendance, and performance management systems.
Establish policies for onboarding, training, compensation, and benefits.
Ensure readiness for audits and certifications (ISO, TS, etc.).
5. Learning & Development
Design plant-specific training programs for technical, behavioral, and safety competencies.
Build leadership development tracks for high-potential employees.
6. Culture & Engagement
Launch employee engagement programs tailored to a manufacturing environment.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion from day one.
Create recognition platforms and feedback loops.
The Successful Applicant
Proven success in greenfield or brownfield project environments.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and industrial relations.
Experience with lean manufacturing and digital HR tools is a plus.
