Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant - Taxation located in New Delhi. The role involves managing and overseeing all tax-related matters, preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic tax planning and advisory. The Chartered Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and will take the lead on tax audits and assessments. Responsibilities also include staying updated on tax laws and regulations and advising on the impact of new legislation on the business.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Technical research about various tax matters (such as book-to-tax adjustments, tax credit calculations, foreign tax credit recoverability, controlled foreign corporation analysis, etc).

2. Domestic and International business tax compliance.

3. Quarter-end / year-end tax reporting - Liaising with contacts in Financial Accounting

4. Drafting of opinions to be given on various direct tax and indirect tax issues, including doing an in-depth study of the matter, etc.

5. Handling transfer pricing analysis and reporting, both international and domestic

6. Managing and preparing transfer pricing documentation to support intra-group transactions in compliance with local regulations

7. Good knowledge and experience of Transfer pricing compliance and implementation, such as being responsible for implementing records / documentation / records as per Transfer pricing regulation.

8. Preparation of responses to notices / letters issued by the tax authorities.

9. Withholding tax / TDS compliances & resolving withholding tax queries of international vendors and arranging tax documents for international payments

10. Working knowledge for the preparation of documentation for the international remittance business projects

Qualification : CA

Experience – 5 Years or more
