Role and Responsibilities

Design and develop infrastructure for modern contentful-based web pages.
Design and create content models that define the structure and relationships of content types, such as articles, products, images, and videos.
Implement design visuals for components and individual pages.
Migrate WordPress-based content to Contentful by mapping it to the Contentful data model and building the necessary tools to automate the task.
Help investigate and implement other improvements and developments to enhance the performance of our digital platforms.
Work alongside software developers and architects, UX / UI visual designers, and product developers.
Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
Set up the infrastructure to deliver Next.js-generated web pages to end-users and for editor preview, including CI pipeline and CDN.
Prepare proposals and time estimates for future work.
Schedule work to meet completion dates and technical specifications.

Skills and Experience

10+ years of experience in building sites using Content Management Systems (CMS), Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Vue.

8+ years of experience in maintaining and administering.

3+ years of experience in creating responsive websites on Contentful.

In-depth knowledge of Contentful is crucial. This includes understanding content modeling, using Contentful APIs (RESTful or GraphQL), managing content types, and working with entries and assets within Contentful.

Experience in integrating third-party services (translation) to Contentful.

Advanced React.js frontend skills, Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js / gatsby.

Hands-on with static HTML and Server-side Rendering (SSR).

Ensure completion of project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

Good understanding of visualizing contentful data for the web.

Extensive experience in developing complex web applications with React, Hooks, and TypeScript.

Thorough with cross-browser compatibility issues and approaches.

Expertise in Agile development practices is desirable.

Should be able to get things done without being micromanaged.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must require minimal supervision and provide oversight for assigned projects.

Proven ability to be effective and adaptable in response to frequent change and ambiguity
