Process Engineering (API) - GM

We are looking for an accomplished professional to lead

Process Engineering

activities. The role involves overseeing process design, technology transfer, scale-up, and continuous improvement across multiple API manufacturing sites.

The ideal candidate will have a

strong foundation in chemical and process engineering

, with deep expertise in

basic and detailed engineering, tech transfer, and scale-up of API processes

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage the

process engineering team

across API manufacturing plants.

Drive

technology transfer

from R&D to commercial manufacturing, ensuring robust process scale-up.

Oversee

basic and detailed engineering

for new and existing API facilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization, yield improvement, and cost reduction.

Ensure adherence to

cGMP, safety, and regulatory compliance

during process design and execution.

Support capital projects, equipment selection, and plant modification initiatives.

Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement preventive solutions.

Mentor and guide engineering teams to enhance technical capabilities.

Key Requirements : Qualification :

B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.

Experience : Minimum 15+ years in

API / Chemical Manufacturing

, with strong exposure to

process engineering and scale-up

Proven experience in leading

tech transfer

and

process validation

activities.

Strong understanding of

unit operations, plant design, and engineering documentation

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
