Crest Infosystems - Generative AI Engineer - Python / LLM

We are looking for a skilled LLM / GenAI & Machine Learning Expert who can drive innovative AI / ML solutions and spearhead the development of advanced GenAI-powered applications.

The ideal candidate will be a strong Python programmer with hands-on experience in both traditional Machine Learning and Generative AI, including experience with AWS SageMaker, LLMs, and related tools and frameworks.

This role demands not only technical excellence but also strong communication skills and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.

Exposure to emerging concepts like multi-agent collaboration, Memory-Context-Planning (MCP), and agent-to-agent workflows is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of GenAI / LLM and ML-based products and solutions.
• Work with AWS SageMaker for model training, deployment, and scaling of ML / GenAI workflows.
• Mentor and support junior engineers in implementing GenAI and ML solutions.
• Perform prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) implementations.
• Build custom LLM workflows using Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Apply advanced paradigms such as Memory-Context-Planning, agent-to-agent collaboration, and autonomous agent design.
• Research and prototype new ideas and stay current with evolving GenAI / ML trends.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to align AI / LLM use cases with business Skills :
• 5+ years of total software development experience, with a strong foundation in Python.
• 2 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in GenAI and Machine Learning, including real-world implementation and deployment.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience using AWS SageMaker for ML / LLM model development and deployment.
• Deep familiarity with LLMs such as GPT-4, Claude, Mistral, and LLaMA.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, tokenization, and embedding-based search.
• Experience with tools and frameworks like Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API, and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma).
• Exposure to agent frameworks and multi-agent orchestration tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
